DATA ACQUISITION
MANTA provides a performant Matlab package for performing many-many-channel (~1440) recordings, e.g. with electrophysiological data from single cell, MEG, EEG, uECOG probes. It features rich display & filtering options, some spikesorting, support for 3D arrays, and both analog and digital headstages. Altogether this translates in an extensible system at fairly low costs (<$90/channel). For more details, take a look at our publication on the system. The latest code for MANTA can be downloaded from Google Code.
EXPERIMENTAL CONTROL
CONTROLLER provides a near real-time, event-based Matlab framework for combined data-acquisition and behavioral control. It supports the integration of National Instruments DAQ, Arduino I/O (~1kHz), Camera integration, Audio Stimulation and Recording, and neural recording via the Open EPhys system (controlled remotely). Experiments can be quickly defined as new paradigms, which are derived in a class-hierarchy.
VISUALIZATION & DATA ANALYSIS
FISHUALIZER provides a high-performance python visualization suite for large-scale data, in particular tailored to display whole-brain data from zebrafish-larvae. It integrates a few common functions, such as deconvolution (using OASIS) and instant display of static transformations and correlation maps. Fishualizer is currently in beta and will be made available soon.
